ASTELLBIO 1 X 2 BATCH THERMAL EDS
Having two sterilization tanks and a holding tank allows this thermal batch EDS to process waste in one sterilization tank while the other is filling. If one sterilization tank is active, and the second has been filled, the holding tank provides an additional vessel in which to hold wastewater.
This device can effectively handle fluctuating flows of effluent, and periods of high volume.
The model shown utilizes an Astell 72kW steam generator to provide the heat required for sterilization, but can be built to employ an on-site steam supply.
A thermal batch effluent decontamination system with two sterilization tanks and a holding tank operates as shown in the diagrams below.
